"HC And - Eye Department" has been developed in collaboration between the Eye Department, H.C. Andersen Children and Youth Hospital, Odense University Hospital, children and their families and 10:30 Visual Communication.

HC And is patient information for children aged 4-7 years and aims to prepare and reduce anxiety in children for whom many hospital terms are completely unknown.

In "HC And - Eye Department" general patient procedures/examinations at the Eye Department are conveyed. The information is spoken - by a child's voice - and animation in the genre "Learning through play with tablet/mobile phone/touch screen".
