How to Fish in Cats and Soup
The first time you may get fish in your inventory is from quest rewards, but this isn’t a reliable way to accumulate these scaly creatures. Your best bet is to construct a Fish Pond, which will be available after you build the corn processing station.

Once you build a pond, tap it and select the fishing icon. Click the screen to release your bait. Your phone will vibrate when a fish falls for your trap, like in Tsuki Adventure 2. Tap the fishing rod icon as quickly as you can to reel in your catch.

If you tap it too late, you’ll lose the fish and your bait. You can stock up to five baits at a time. When you use up all five, you have to wait for two hours to get a new fishing lure or watch ads to get them instantly.
How to Feed Fish to Cats
One could easily mistake fish for a soup ingredient, but that’s not its actual use in Cats and Soup. Fish are special items that you can use to feed your cats and get better cooking results.
Tap any cooking structure with a working cat and click the feline friend’s icon. Select the Feed tab and choose the fish you want your cute soup makers to feast on. This will improve their heart status, which raises their special buffs.

You can view the buff growth by tapping the info icon on the top right side of the Feed tab. Fish of higher rarity provide a better buff increase.

You can get an idea of which fish are high-value by going to the menu button on the bottom right side of the screen. Select Collection and press the Fish tab.

Fish are divided into sets of three. When you’ve got all three types of fish in a set, you will receive a permanent boost in specific game bonuses.
How to Sell Fish in Cats and Soup
The secondary use of fish in Cats and Soup is to give you extra dough. You can sell your catch by tapping the fishing rod icon on the Fish Pond.
Then, click the fish container logo on the bottom right side of the screen. Select the fish you want to dispose of and tap the Sell button.

Like with feeding, the rarer the fish, the higher the value.
